Numbers tell the story for Bayport High School's STEM 101 implementation
March 19, 2012

Numbers tell the story for Bayport High School's implementation of The STEM Academy or STEM 101 curriculum reports lead instructor Scott Gutschow, "Our school has a strong push for AP courses. This pulls nearly every student in this direction, however our student enrollment is up significantly within our technology education department. How is this possible? Students realize beyond school value as they receive science equivalency, university and college credit as well as industry certifications (89% of Bayport High School advanced students are Solidworks certified or CSWA). These are long overdue benefits for Bayport High School students and the much needed validation for technology education at the Bayport STEM Academy".
